The Third Nightmare Set
The Passion Of The Chris To Unite Christians, Democrats

New Milford (Knight Ridder)- The date and time for Nuptial Nightmare III has been set for Saturday, November 12 at High Noon. The third installment of the Nightmare saga will metaphorically chronicle the life and times of SNMFC footballer Chris Plank from his days as a reknown prophet through his last days on earth as a single man.

"For it says in the scripture: 'From the sixth hour (noon) until the ninth hour (3pm) darkness came over all the land,' so must it be for the Southern New Milford Football Concern," said concernmate Tom Marks, quoting the book of Matthew. The departure from the normal SNMFC start time not only favors the Word of the Lord, but those who will be travelling to New Milford for the event.

Anticipation for the third Nightmare has already ignited a controversy as to who will reclaim the D-Cup, the legendary trophy/flower bowl for the game's MVP, named after the SNMFC's first fallen hero, Brian Durand.

SNMFC Historians have noted that this is the first Nuptial Nightmare to be played on the home soil of New Milford. Nuptial Nightmare I: Untitled was played a few miles outside of Cloud Nine Gentleman's Club in Pennslyvania, and Nuptial Nightmare II: The Green Mountain Massacre was played on the cognac-soaked turf of the Middlebury College campus in Vermont.
